Quick poll.

Who thinks they'll still be using that exact same winner six months from now?
The winner keeps changing.
We originally started as a Claude Code meetup.
23 July · outside
Something changed for me too.
I basically stopped using only Claude Code.
Not because Claude Code became bad.
Because different agents became useful for different kinds of work.
That's why this is now
Agents for Everyone.
We're here to:
1
See what other people are actually doing with agents
2
Steal useful workflows from each other
3
Meet the people building this stuff locally
Goal for tonight
Leave with at least one thing you want to try yourself.
Use the agent that is best for the particular job.
04 · Another shift
chats → persistent agents
When it launched, I thought
"That's it?"
I expected something very configurable and technical.
Instead, they hid most of that complexity.
Grok Bot is basically persistent agents for normal people.
its own responsibility
memory
tools
computer
ongoing work
And Bots can coordinate with each other.

Who here knows Gas Town?

My feeling at the time
The idea was ahead of the models.
The orchestration was interesting, but the underlying agents weren't reliable enough yet.
Now that has changed a lot.
Long-running work and context management have become much more practical.
06 · My actual setup
I liked the Grok Bot idea.
I just didn't want to buy another expensive tool.
I already pay for Claude and Codex.
So I recreated the model inside Codex.
I don't want to ask
"Which chat had that conversation?"
I want to ask
"Which agent owns this?"
> What needs my attention right now?
Live in Codex
And now I can even talk to this system through Voice while I'm walking.
07 · The thing I actually want to keep
Today it might be:
GPT-6 Astra
Fable 5.1
Claude
Codex
Hermes
Grok Bot
Clawdbot / another harness
Tomorrow's winner may be different.
So the durable thing should not be
"your GPT-6 Astra setup"
The durable thing is
your context
your skills
your files
your workflows
your accumulated decisions
Preferably in portable formats like plain text where possible.
models can change
providers can change
harnesses can change
without throwing away everything you've learned.
08 · No deep explanation
Look at what agents can do now.
Browser / computer use
The agent can actually go and do the browsing.
researching a phone
going through sites
checking Facebook Marketplace
screenshots of your computer
recording your screen
This isn't "tell me what phone to buy."

Coding
Coding agents have become dramatically more capable.

Motion graphics
code → motion graphic
Video editing
@trq212 on X · June 2026 · the earlier Fable release, not 5.1
I love video editing.
And I think video editors actually have a huge opportunity here.
speech → diagram appears
code → motion graphic
agent → full editable timeline
Images / ads
Current image models produce usable ad creative.
The range of work you can actually hand to an agent is expanding insanely fast.
Okay, that's enough Twitter
and enough of me.

The whole point of tonight is not for me to tell you what's possible.
It's to see how people in this room are actually using these tools to get work done.

We can argue about Astra versus Fable all night.
But it's much more useful to see what people are actually building.
Corey, let's start with you.
